WS Champion and Baylor Alum Cody Bradford helps open Hawaiian Falls for the summer

WACO, Texas (KWTX) – Texas Rangers LHP and former Big 12 Pitcher of the Year Cody Bradford was recently placed on 60-day IL due to a rib stress fracture and back pain.

Despite his hard work in rehab, the former Baylor Bear and recent World Series champion made time to sign autographs and meet and greet fans at Hawaiian Falls Water Park to help kick off the summer.

Our News Ten’s Chad Vautherine had a chance to chat with Bradford about what it’s been like to return to Waco and get a chance to take his mind off his injury.
