Four puppies stolen at knifepoint by masked attackers in Sheffield

Four puppies have been reported by their owner to have been stolen at knifepoint by two masked men in Sheffield.

Their owner was asleep when the intruders entered the apartment, but he woke up and challenged them.

The pair threatened him with the knife and left with the puppies, although no one was injured in the incident, South Yorkshire Police said.

Detectives have appealed for help as they investigate the raid, which took place in the Smelter Wood Road area at around 6.30pm on February 22.

Anyone who recognizes the puppies or has seen them offered for sale on social media has been asked to come forward.
