Sheffield Wednesday are considering a move for Ovie Ejaria, according to a report from The Star.

Sheffield Wednesday took a look at the free agent on trial in the latter stages of last season. They have managed to retain their Championship status under Danny Rohl and are gearing up for another year in the second tier.

Ejaria, 26, has been available since cutting ties with League One side Reading last December and has been weighing up his options in recent months. He is a former England youth international and has represented the Three Lions at Under-20 and Under-21 levels in the past.

According to The Star, the Owls are weighing up a move for him as they look to add more quality to their ranks this summer.

The Londoner has made 174 appearances in his career to date and scored 12 goals. He had a trial at Plymouth Argyle in January, according to Workingham Today.
