Eamonn continued: “It was. It was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. The FA Cup Final, one of the greatest cup finals ever. He took me there (points to his chest), it was emotional. Anyway, Paul will be here with your sports news. I don’t know if they’re looking back at the cup final, but we’re also looking at a lot of things.”

A source close to the TV star has warned her fans that she will break her silence as she ‘puts on a brave face’ but is well aware that she cannot escape public scrutiny. “Eamonn is always candid on camera and knows it will be awkward for him to discuss the news of the day without mentioning his breakup, so he’s going to say a few words,” the insider claimed.

“Put on a brave face and be the true professional you always are. Focusing on work will be a welcome distraction.”
