Napton crash, seriously injured child with head injuries ‘stable’

Police say a child “hit by a motorcycle” is in a stable condition in hospital. The young man was involved in a collision with a small motorbike in Napton, Warwickshire.

The child was taken to hospital with serious head injuries and remains there being treated, Warwickshire Police said. The incident took place in a field off Old Brickyard Lane in the village.



The Napton Horse, Pony and Hound Show was held throughout the day. It is not yet clear if the incident happened at the show itself.

Investigations into the collision, which happened on Saturday night (May 25), are ongoing. Police are still keen to hear from anyone who was in the area or has information

“If you have a dashcam or phone recording please contact us, quoting incident 275 of May 25,” a Warwickshire Police spokesman said.
