The Aldi store reopens this week after refurbishment

The Aldi store in West Point, St Helens, will reopen to customers this week after a refurbishment.

The supermarket giant claims the updates will make for a better shopping experience and a more sustainable store. Changes include increased fridge space, complete with new fridge doors to reduce energy consumption, as well as extra space for specialty shopping and redesigned health and beauty and bakery sections for a modernized look.




Re-opening on Friday 31 May, the store will offer a range of festival essentials including a £17.99 two-person pop-up tent, £9.99 camping accessories and children’s pop-up tents for 12, £99 each.

Store manager Julie Holcroft said: “The store looks fantastic and we’re looking forward to welcoming back some familiar faces as well as new customers and providing our local community with the amazing everyday products we have available.”

The store has 45 employees.
