Gogglebox stars Simon and Jane Minty are known for their hilarious interpretations of the nation’s favorite shows.

The sibling duo joined the hit series in 2021, quickly becoming fan favorites with their witty observations. But away from the cameras, they lead quite different lives.

Simon, 55 and a dwarf, runs his own business, Sminty Ltd, which is dedicated to improving accessibility and inclusion for disabled people in businesses across the UK and globally. His firm advises on the recruitment, retention and promotion of disabled employees, as well as improving services for disabled customers, the Mirror reports.

Jane, meanwhile, revealed in 2022 that she works in a kitchen and regularly shared photos from the kitchen on the pair’s joint Instagram account. In one photo, she can be seen smiling and holding a lemon cake, which she captioned: ‘Homemade cakes at work today…will try to save a piece for Simon to try!! A happy day at work”.

She also shared a comical snap from a chaotic day at work in October, showing her laughing as she ended up with cheese sauce in her hair following a fight with a hand mixer. Jane easily contrasted her situation with Simon’s polished looks, joking: ‘He wears shiny shoes, smart suits and looks fabulous. Today I got into an argument with a hand grater and a cheese sauce! Hair washing tonight!” she joked. .

The prank continued when Simon responded to the photo with a charming comment, saying: “You always look fabulous. Even with cheese sauce in your hair.”

Simon had his own thrilling update last year, revealing that he had been selected for the World Dwarf Games. Wearing his sports gear, he excitedly declared during an interview: “S** just got real,” adding: “My kit has arrived for the World Midget Games in Cologne next month.”

He celebrated this milestone with a proud statement about taking up athletics later in life: “It’s pretty good to become an athlete at 50. Although the best thing for me is meeting and hanging out with other little people from all over the world.”
