Summerville is seen as one of the best players in the Championship and a number of Premier League clubs are now set to make a move.

Sun Online understands that Liverpool and Chelsea are leading the race.

West Ham, Fulham and Bournemouth are also interested in the winger but will have work to do to convince the forward to join them over Liverpool or Chelsea.

The 22-year-old is valued at between £35-40m.

His 21 goals and 10 assists in all competitions have attracted the attention of the continent’s top clubs, but a move to the Premier League is thought to be the most likely.

His age and potential have put him at the top of many clubs’ wanted lists, with Liverpool currently showing the clearest interest in the Dutchman.

They have been tracking the player since March and he has been proposed as a player that Arne Slot favors.

His versatility is believed to appeal to Slot, as well as his work rate: two traits that are high on the coach’s list of priorities for the players he builds his team around.
