Manchester United legend Sammy McIlroy wants the club to make a quick call on Erik ten Hag’s future but insists if manager and defender Jonny Evans leave Old Trafford they will leave with their pride intact.

Like every United fan, Northern Ireland hero McIlroy is awaiting the outcome of the club’s 2023/24 end-of-season review, which will determine whether the Ten Hag remains in service.
