Police call after driver ‘repeatedly hit’ Sutton Coldfield traffic lights

Police have shared an image of a man they would like to speak to after a driver was assaulted in Sutton Coldfield. The violent attack happened on Minworth Island, Minworth, at around 3.30pm on April 1.

The victim was stopped at traffic lights before being repeatedly punched. Police described the offender as six feet tall and between 30 and 40 years old.




He wore a black jacket with white and gold fur around the hood and a gold chain during the attack. West Midlands Police yesterday issued a photograph of a man they would like to speak to following the attack.

A spokesman for the force said: “Do you know who this is? We would like to speak to him following an incident where a driver was assaulted.

“The victim was stopped at traffic lights when he was repeatedly punched by the offender. The incident happened on Minworth Island in Minworth, Birmingham at around 3.30pm on April 1.

“The offender is described as six-foot-tall, with facial stubble, in his thirties to forties. Wearing a black jacket with white and gold fur around the hood and a gold chain.
