Leeds chairman Marathe admits: We have to sell

Leeds United chairman Paraag Marathe admits he needs to sell this summer.

Archie Gray and Crysencio Summerville are expected to leave after Leeds missed out on promotion back to the Premier League.

“We have the funds we need to do what we need to do, but there will have to be some compromises because of (profit and sustainability rules),” Marathe said. BBC Radio Leeds.

“It’s not just about outings, it’s also about ins, let’s look at scouting possibilities, but we have to make compromises. I can’t talk about specific players now, it’s too early.

“There are certain things that we need to do and we will make sure that we are fully compliant with P and S (profit and sustainability) as we always have been. We’ll have to go back to the drawing board and see what deals we need. make.”

Marathe also insists he is banking on manager Daniel Farke next season.

“Daniel has been fantastic, I’m excited to work with him next season,” added Marathe.

“We had a long-term plan, a long-term commitment; we have to see it through to the end.

“He has the right temperament. I feel confident because we are at least four or five weeks ahead of last year.”
