Woman left with ‘multiple bite wounds’ after pub toilet attack

A woman has been left with “multiple bite injuries” following an attack in the toilets of an Atherstone pub. Police say two people were injured, one who was bitten multiple times.

Warwickshire Police say an altercation broke out in the women’s toilets at a Church Street pub. He then continued outside before a suspect was dragged into a car by a man he was with.




Investigations are ongoing since the incident happened at around 11.30pm on Sunday 17 March. A Warwickshire Police spokesman said: “The investigation is progressing and detectives are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

“Anyone with information can call 101 or visit online quoting crime reference 23/11210/24.”
