Adam Keighran is looking forward to the challenge facing Wigan warriors in Saturday’s betfred super league clash against the Huddersfield giants.

The Warriors travel to John Smith’s Stadium to face the Giants for the second time this season after a 30-16 win at home in Round 3.

Looking ahead to the Round 11 encounter in West Yorkshire, Keighran said: “Huddersfield are a good side with quality players all over the park who like to move the ball and play direct. It will be a big challenge for us to maintain the momentum from the Catalans’ win, but it’s one we’re looking forward to.”

Reflecting on Wigan’s win over Catalans Dragons last time out, Keighran added: “We started a bit slow in the first half because of discipline and errors, but in the second half we really turned it around. In the end it was a good way to bounce back from losing to Hull KR.”

After settling into the side, Keighran said: “Now that I understand how fast Bevan (French) and Jai (Field) really are, I understand better where I have to put myself. I think we’ve made big improvements since we played Huddersfield in Round 3 and now we’re looking forward to getting there and seeing how far we’ve come.”

Speaking about his time at the Warriors so far, the center said: “I’m enjoying my time here. I was accepted pretty quickly, but now it’s even more special that I feel more part of the group. A lot of things in life both on and off the pitch are going well, so I can’t complain.”
