Supporters raise over £1,500 at Manchester 10k for Adoption Matters

FIVE extraordinary runners showed their support for children’s charity Adoption Matters at the AJ Bell Great Manchester 10k, raising more than £1,500 in the process.

Team Adoption Matters was made up of John, who impressively completed the course in just under 49 minutes, Ellie, who took part to show her support for her mum who works for the charity, David, who will be running the remarkable and the Great North Run. in aid of Adoption Matters and Amy, who works for the charity, and her son Ben.

Adoption Matters has offices in Chester, Hale, Blackburn, Warrington, Manchester, Leeds, Stoke and Durham, but covers the whole of the North of England, parts of the Midlands and Wales, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
Funds raised will help provide more support to families, children, adopted adults and birth families through the Adoption and Adoption Support Center.

Annie O’Neill, Adoption Matters Fundraising and Relationship Manager, comments: “We’re so grateful to all our runners for their dedication in completing the Great Manchester 10k – it’s amazing to see so many people connected to our charity giving it a go. their time to help us continue to expand our services to those who need them.
“It was a fantastic effort from the Adoption Matters team and we are incredibly grateful to them all.”
