Murder 198 in Point Fortin | Extra news

Brent Lewis got a cell phone call, ran off the road and died.

A car appeared and the occupants shot him.

It happened around 8.45pm at Techier Village, Point Fortin.

Lewis, 38, was described as self-employed.

Officers were told Lewis was near the village’s community center when he received a call and entered the road.

A brightly colored Nissan Tiida pulled up.

Two gunmen came after Lewis. The reason is not immediately known.

The crime brings the number of homicides for the year to at least 198.
