Four men jailed after £510,000 drug factory bust, Huddersfield

The operators of a Huddersfield drug factory that produced more than half a million pounds worth of cannabis have been jailed.

Huddersfield’s borough policing team continued to urge residents to continue reporting drug offenses following the sentencing of four men for their role in operating a large-scale drug factory on Blackmoorfoot Road in Huddersfield.

The men were all jailed at Leeds Crown Court on May 22 for producing a class B drug.

Enea Bajrami (25) of Blackmoorfoot Road, was sentenced to one year, three months,

Ervin Jamaku (22) of Blackmoorfoot Road was jailed for one year and three months.

Florin Cena (23) of Blackmoorfoot Road was sentenced to one year in prison.

Denald Pashja (26) of Blackmoorfoot Road was jailed for eight months.

All the men were arrested after NPT officers executed a warrant at a building on Blackmoorfoot Road, Crosland Moor, on Tuesday 5 March.

Officers housed over 670 factories valued at £510,000 in the former commercial building.

Inspector Andy Barraclough of Huddersfield NPT said: “The premises on Blackmoorfoot Road was clearly a significant operation potentially producing many hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of drugs.

“The closure of this plant and the sentencing of the four men who produce cannabis there will undoubtedly be a blow to the organized criminals who funded and expected income from it.

“All such cannabis farm closures are a blow to drug criminals and we want to thank the public who continue to provide us with information and information about drug production in Huddersfield.
