Star Wars star Warwick Davis snaps with fans on holiday in Cornwall

Warwick Davis was snapped smiling for a picture with fans while on holiday in Cornwall. The TV legend, whose wife tragically died two months ago, was happy to stop for a moment with a young family in Newquay.

The 54-year-old, who is the highest-grossing supporting actor of all time and has appeared in blockbusters including Star Wars, Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia, wore a blue outfit.

Happy to stop for a picture, Newquay mum Jade Horsley got behind the lens to snap this shot of the English actor with her children at The Boathouse – a street food restaurant on the beach in the popular coastal resort.

She said Warwick Davis was a “lovely guy” who told them he was on holiday in the area. The father-of-three, who has been playing since he was 12, paid tribute to his late wife last month following her death in March.

Samantha Davis has died at the age of 53, and Warwick announced the news in a statement to the BBC, revealing that she died on March 24. Samantha co-founded the dwarfism charity Little People UK and appeared in the final Harry Potter film alongside Warwick. “Her passing has left a big hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs,” Warwick said in the statement.
