The report further highlights the nursery’s commitment to individualized learning and development. It states: “Staff know children well and pay attention to children’s individual interests to ensure they are reflected in what they provide. All children make good progress in learning and development, including children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities. (SEND). Children develop good independence skills and manage self-care well.”

Feedback from parents about North Street Nursery is also positive, with praise for the education and care their children receive. The report states that “parents speak highly of staff and are positive about the education and care their children receive.

She also said key people work hard to get to know children’s families, which helps staff share information, build links and provide continuity of care for children. While the inspection report highlights the nursery’s strengths, it also identifies areas for improvement.

The report suggests that daycare should focus on improving children’s communication and language development by giving them enough time to process information and answer questions. In addition, the report recommends providing a consistently high-quality and challenging literacy curriculum, maximizing resources to support children’s literacy development.
