The man’s son recovered from River Aire, Leeds

Police investigating the River Aire in Leeds recovered the body of a man this afternoon (Thursday, May 30).

Officers have been searching the river near Crown Point since May 23 after receiving reports that a man was in the water.

The man recovered is believed to be the same man seen entering the river.

There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances in the death and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
