Heinz focuses on baked bean products due to ‘changing customer tastes’

Heinz has removed its Organic Baked Beanz tins due to “food trends”. Heinz has “innovated” to meet changing customer tastes, it has confirmed, with Organic Baked Beanz nowhere to be found for customers in UK supermarkets and corner shops.

“At Heinz we focus on innovating to respond to changing food trends and tastes and sometimes that means making small changes to our portfolio. These are always considered with the consumer in mind,” said producer Heinz Kraft.

A product description for the item reads: “1 in 5 a day. Made with all organically grown ingredients. Gluten free and low fat. Naturally rich in protein and fiber. Absolutely no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
