Police are after a man who outrages public decency at Sheffield beauty spot

The hunt for a man seen committing a “lewd act” at a Sheffield beauty spot continues as detectives launch a new appeal for information.

South Yorkshire Police are appealing for help to find a man following reports of public indecency at the Shire Brook Valley Nature Reserve in Stone Lane.




The incident happened at around 12.45pm on January 8 and officers have since spoken to a man in connection with it and inquiries remain ongoing at this time. Today, they launched a new appeal as they try to find a potential witness.

Police want to identify a man who is believed to have witnessed the man. He is described as a white man, believed to be in his 70s, who was believed to be driving a red Ford Focus at the time.
