Tory candidate launches campaign to save police stations

CONSERVATIVE candidate Sarah Lesadd has launched a campaign in Coventry East to “save local police stations”.

Miss Lesadd worked in the public service for over five years before entering politics.

The candidate is campaigning on a platform to reject proposals to close Foleshill and Willenhall stations – she said it would deprive local residents of access to vital services.

Miss Lesadd also proposes to improve local train stations and provide better access to the constituency, as well as the old parking charges for health professionals at the local hospital.

Miss Lesadd, potential Tory parliamentary candidate said: “Coventry East is a vibrant, dynamic constituency which has been let down by years of Labor complacency and incompetence.

“It’s amazing that the needs and aspirations of so many working people have been completely neglected, and I’m a platform to bring real change and tangible action to give local people the strong representation they deserve.”
