The A3059 was closed after the accident near Cornwall Airport Newquay

The A3059 in Cornwall has been closed following an accident this afternoon, Friday 31 May. Traffic slow in both directions near Cornwall Airport Newquay from 3pm to 6.30pm this evening.

According to traffic monitoring website Inrix, the accident happened between the A39 Trekening and Tregaswith roundabout. It was first reported at 3:06 p.m.

Inrix reported: “A3059 both ways closed, slow traffic due to accident between A39 (Trekenning roundabout, Trekenning) and Carloggas toll (Tregaswith).”
