Section of busy Enfield road temporarily closed following accident

ENFIELD, CT — A portion of Weymouth Road will be closed for several hours Friday evening due to a car accident, according to a message sent out at 6:10 p.m. by the City of Enfield’s Everbridge Notification System.

The street is closed between King Street, otherwise known as Route 5, and Hickory Lane. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.
