Chelsea FC XI vs Leicester: Mount on the bench

Today’s penultimate Premier League game of Chelsea’s season sees Thomas Tuchel face Leicester without Andreas Christensen following his withdrawal from the FA Cup final.

A meeting with Leicester gives the Blues a real chance to give their supporters something to shout about after seeing their side fall to defeat against Liverpool again in a domestic cup final.

Soon, defender Christensen will not have a chance to say goodbye.

Expected to join Barcelona on a free transfer this summer, Tuchel admitted the Dane is unlikely to play for the club again after pulling out of the Wembley defeat to Liverpool.

Elsewhere, doubts over Kai Havertz’s fitness following his hamstring problem rule him out and the same problem also sees Timo Werner miss out. Mateo Kovacic, meanwhile, is out with an ankle problem.
