Coleen Nolan reveals Ruth Langsford’s ‘crazy jealousy’ of pre-split friendship with Eamonn Holmes

Coleen Nolan cheekily stirred the pot by suggesting her partner Ruth Langsford was ‘crazy jealous’ of her relationship with Eamonn Holmes, shortly before the couple announced their split. Earlier in the year, during an interview, the Loose Women star discussed the long-running joke that she might ‘spoof’ Eamonn from Ruth.

She shared these comments with Express in February ahead of her tour. “I love to love Ruth about him. I love him – and he and I get along so well – and Ruth goes “really, my best friend, one of my best friends? “And I know she’s insanely jealous,” Coleen. disclosed.




“She gets really jealous so I like to pull her and say, ‘Seriously, Eamonn is so much better with me.’ But then newspapers pick it up, magazines and stuff,” she continued. “We laugh as soon as she says something about Eamonn – like she’s negative about him,” she confessed.

Coleen hinted that Ruth is expressing her exasperation with Eamonn’s health problems, saying: “She’ll say he’s always complaining about all these ailments. you.’ So we laugh at the two of them so much,” reports the Mirror.

Eamonn has really had a tough time recently, including the loss of his mother and various health struggles. The GB News presenter’s health reportedly took another hit in 2022 when, while recovering from back surgery, he suffered a fall at home resulting in a broken shoulder.

Reflecting on a terrible fall he experienced the previous year, he recounted how Ruth was present when he lost his legs. He detailed: “I was on a bend in the stairs and I just went down the stairs, boom, boom, boom, down the whole flight of stairs until I hit the stone floor in the hall.”

He then described the terrifying moments that followed, saying: “I had blood coming out of my mouth and a bone sticking out of my shoulder. Ruth hurried down the stairs. She kept saying, “You’re fine, everything’s fine, you.” refine.’ I said, “Ruthie, there’s a bone sticking out of my shoulder—I’m not well.”
