Motorcyclist transported to hospital after the A30 accident

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with “potentially serious injuries” following a crash in Devon, police said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said they were called at around 11.20am BST on Friday to the single-vehicle crash on the A30 near Daisy Mount Cross.

The force said the road was temporarily closed and the ambulance service was called to the scene.

A spokesman added: “Following the collision, a motorcyclist was taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries.”
