Cornwall auction properties include the Cliff Cottage and Chip Shop

A bungalow in a “truly stunning location” overlooking Porthcurno Beach – said to have “Grand Designs potential” – in Cornwall is under the hammer. The property is among 174 lots listed in the latest auction by Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers – and we’ve listed 12, from a chip shop and overgrown bushland to houses with guide prices of up to £50,000 of pounds sterling.

Porthscylla is a detached one bedroom cottage style property set in the cliffs next to the famous Minack Open Air Theater in an area featured in the popular TV series Poldark. It sits on approximately 0.78 hectares (1.94 acres) of predominantly cliff land, with a flat area towards the top offering potential for formalisation.

This plot, although full of vegetation, is on a corner where some may consider some form of use, all with the necessary consents.”
