Liverpool FC fans in tears as they read Klopp’s wife’s scarf

Liverpool FC fans shared their emotions after seeing Jurgen Klopp’s wife Ulla Sandrock at Anfield for his final game as Reds boss.

As the Wolves game kicked off on Sunday, there was an emotional rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone. During it, Sky cameras zoomed in on Ulla holding up a Liverpool scarf.

Many fans watching the home game reacted to seeing Klopp’s wife show her support for Liverpool one last time. On X, ex-Twitter, Nata simply said: “Ulla” with crying and broken heart emojis.

Reid said: “THEY’RE STILL SHOWING ULLA WHILE YNWA IS NEEDED (crying emojis)” and Vee said: “I’m off, those close-ups of Klopp and then Ulla’s shot.”

Diana said: “I love you Mrs Ulla Klopp. Thank you very much”. Brad said: “Ulla holding a scarf up during YNWA (red heart emoji)”

Ulla will leave a lasting impression on Merseyside and one city in particular. She and her husband have lived in Formby since Klopp signed as Liverpool boss in 2015.

During the covid pandemic, Ulla did acts of kindness to the people living in the area that will not soon be forgotten.

Formby Community Football Club’s (FCFC) has an ‘army’ of volunteers who, when the lockdown stopped play in 2020, started organizing food and medicine deliveries, made phone calls to the isolated and even cut people’s grass, and Ulla made a “substantial” donation to the cause.

Around the same time, she also handed out £1,000 worth of food vouchers to staff at Waitrose in Formby as a ‘thank you’ for working on the frontline.

The ECHO understands that 20 separate £50 vouchers for the store were handed out individually by the Liverpool manager’s wife to those in the store at the time.
