A new luxury jewelery store is to open at West Orchards in Coventry

A new jewelery store is set to open soon at West Orchards Shopping Center in Coventry. Warren James to take over Goldsmiths.

Shoppers will be able to find a wide range of high-end jewelery at the new store in West Orchards. Senior asset manager Andy Talbot said the new city center location would be “a great place to trade from”.

Warren James will open in Goldsmiths, which closed in April 2023. Signs have appeared on the building, but an exact opening date has yet to be confirmed.

It comes as Warren James closed in City Arcade before the site was demolished as part of the multi-million pound City Center South regeneration project. Shops will also be bulldozed in Shelton Square and Bull Yard.

Warren James was founded in 1979 by Ann Jones and John Coulter. It has become the UK’s largest independent jewelery chain, with over 200 stores stretching as far as Aberdeen, Belfast and Hereford.

Andy Talbot, Senior Asset Manager at West Orchards, told CoventryLive: “Warren James moving into the city to West Orchards is another sign that Coventry is a great place to trade and they have invested a significant amount in a new store- brand new that will offer great value jewelry. It is the fourth jewelry store of West Orchards, offering a good choice for customers.
