Proceeds to support the Central London Community NHS Trust

Capita has been selected as the preferred bidder for Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust’s strategic partnership bid to provide a range of corporate services to its staff. The consultancy will provide ICT, HR (payroll and recruitment), estate and facilities management, followed by the planned delivery of financial services, in a ten-year £80m deal.

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) is a healthcare provider for the boroughs of Barnet, Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster. The service exclusively provides out-of-hospital, community-based NHS healthcare services for, among others, children and family services, rehabilitation and therapies, palliative care services, offender health services and NHS urgent and emergency care centers . CLCH employs 3,000 health professionals and support staff to provide community and inpatient services across a catchment area of almost 1 million people in London.

To support it by providing corporate services, CLCH has selected consultancy firm Capita as the preferred bidder in forming a 10-year strategic partnership valued at £80m. The contract will see the firm provide a range of support services to the trust, in the core areas of ICT, HR (payroll and recruitment), property and facilities management, followed by the planned provision of financial services to CLCH staff. The rationale for the agreement is to improve trusts’ access to innovation in technical services, thereby improving the quality of services at a lower cost.
