Fans of ITV’s In For A Penny are making the same complaint after the last episode

Fans of Stephen Mulhern’s ITV show vented their anger on social media after the latest episode ended.

As the credits rolled after June 2’s In For A Penny, people rushed to X (Twitter) to make a long-winded complaint about the show. Stephen Mulhern’s show started life as a segment of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway in 2018, before becoming a full show in its own right.

Since then, fans have been tuning in to the 2019 fix of the Saturday night show, which involves Stephen taking to the streets of various towns and cities across the UK and posing wacky challenges to members of the public to win £1,000. In the past, an episode featured scenes that were filmed in Liverpool with ITV’s regular recording in Liverpool ONE.

The latest episode of the show saw the 47-year-old Dancing on Ice presenter mark his 50th episode with the return of Diving for Dosh, a crazy Weigh to Go and TV’s most ridiculous guessing game in Boiling Point. The upcoming finale sees Stephen jet off to Walt Disney World to give Magic Kingdom tourists a chance to boost their bank balance.

However, fans continued to air the same complaint that has been made ever since the show got its own slot. One wrote: “I’ll keep asking this until it happens – please make #InForAPenny run for an ITV hour!”

Another added: “It’s the best 24 minutes of telly of the week. #InForAPenny should have a maximum time slot of one hour!”
