Ice bomb will hit Britain with snow for one side as summer gets off to a cold start

An ice bomb will hit the country with snow for an area as summer is set to get off to a cold start. This is according to the latest weather maps from WXCharts.

It looks like a snowy start to June will see Glasgow covered in flurries on June 4, according to the Mirror. While we are unlikely to see any white here in Coventry and Warwickshire, it will be unseasonably cold weather as we head into the first week of June.

While today is set to be sunny and warm, the Met Office forecast for our region shows that strong winds will see temperatures drop on Tuesday (June 4). This will be accompanied by rain showers.

The Met Office’s most up-to-date online forecasts predict it will become “fairly wet” on Wednesday and Thursday this week as the weather becomes less settled. The online forecast is as follows:

Today

Any early morning fog soon lifts, leaving much of the day dry and sunny. Skies become partly cloudy during the afternoon. Pleasant feeling of warmth in the sun. Maximum temperature 19C.
