Liverpool ace Trent Alexander-Arnold bombarded by Real Madrid fans after Jude Bellingham’s message

Trent Alexander-Arnold saw his congratulatory message to Jude Bellingham hijacked by Real Madrid fans who begged for it. Liverpool’s vice-captain was among those who paid tribute to Bellingham after Real’s Champions League final win.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side won the competition for the 15th time by beating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at Wembley. Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Jr were on target as Bellingham set up the Brazilian for his side’s second goal.

The win capped off a remarkable first season in Spain for the England international. His 23 goals helped Real win the title and saw him crowned La Liga Player of the Year before his Champions League success.

But Real fans had other things on their minds after Alexander-Arnold’s prediction about his international team-mate. Commenting on Bellingham’s Instagram post celebrating the win at Wembley, he wrote: “First of… Congrats bro.”

A number of supporters responded to the comment, simply writing “come to Madrid”, with Alexander-Arnold reportedly emerging as a transfer target for the European champions. Some Liverpool fans managed to have their say, with one telling him “don’t even think about it!”

The 25-year-old is out of contract at Anfield in 2025 and is likely to agree a new deal a priority for Arne Slot and new sporting director Richard Hughes. However, Spanish publication Relevo claim that Real are looking to capitalize on the uncertainty of the contract and plan to launch a charm offensive to try and lure him to the Bernabeu.

The pair could have been team-mates at Anfield as well as internationally, with Liverpool heavily linked with Bellingham last summer. In the end, the Reds had to prioritize overhauling the midfield rather than making a blockbuster signing with four new faces arriving.
