Carol Vorderman is apologizing for being forced to pull out of the LBC show due to illness

Former Countdown Carol Vorderman has confirmed she will miss her regular LBC show today due to ill health. The 63-year-old admitted he felt bad and “everything hurts”.

She shared the news on X, the rebranded social media platform formerly known as Twitter, telling her 980,000 followers: “Morning darlings. Found myself feeling pretty crappy today so won’t be making it to London for my @lbc show. I had some spoilers for you too.” (chic).




This Morning personality Vanessa Feltz will take over Carol’s usual spot from 3 to 6 p.m. Carol said: “Vanessa will be there for me today. I’ll be back next Sunday. Sorry xx.”

Carol then humorously added: “Everything hurts (Can I blame the Tories?)” with a winking emoji. Vorderman has been open about her disapproval of the Conservative Party and has been active in campaigning for Labour, the Express reports.

Carol’s fans responded with messages of support in the comments section. One wrote: “We can blame the Tories for most things lately, so why not?”

“Hope you feel better very soon sweetie,” another message read alongside a heart emoji.

“Get well soon queen,” one follower commented, another added: “Oh dear get well soon and get tested for covid. Xxx” (sic).
