A man has been banned from Coventry shops after credit card fraud

A man has been banned from shops in Coventry city center after using a number of stolen bank cards, police said.

Luke Campbell was identified by CCTV officers using the cards, which had been stolen from vehicles in Hillfields throughout May.

Police said the 34-year-old, of no fixed address, was arrested on Wednesday and magistrates on Thursday sentenced him to eight weeks in prison for fraud.

The force obtained a two-year Criminal Behavior Order (CBO) which bans them from entering Far Gosford Street or any business or commercial premises in the town centre.
