The M62 collapsed live updates from Huddersfield as traffic came to a complete standstill

Motorists traveling along the M62 near Huddersfield are facing long delays this afternoon.

Traffic has been brought to a complete standstill on the eastbound carriageway between J22 at Rishworth Moor and J23 at Huddersfield following a crash involving two cars.




National Highways reported that there is currently a 45-minute delay on the approach and over three miles of congestion. Footage from highway cameras shows cars queuing bumper-to-bumper.
