Manchester United have identified a Wolves forward as one of their key transfer targets this summer.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the future of United boss Erik ten Hag, the club are keen to make some significant additions to their squad.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS are keen for United to improve despite their FA Cup success.

United struggled in the league as they only finished eighth while they were knocked out in the Champions League group stage.

Therefore, United feel it is imperative to get the right decisions in the transfer market.

As reported by The Mirror, United have been heavily scouting Wolves star Matheus Cunha.

Cunha, who can play as a forward or attacking midfielder, scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in 32 Premier League games last season.

Capped eleven times by Brazil, Cunha initially joined Wolves on loan from Atletico Madrid in January 2023, before making the deal permanent later that year.

With Anthony Martial leaving the club on a free transfer, United are looking to add another striker to their current options of Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford.

Cunha currently earns around £60,000-a-week at Wolves but United are reportedly prepared to double his wages.

United are also monitoring West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, who played under-10s at Ajax.

However, Liverpool also want Kudus, who can operate as a winger or attacking midfielder and scored 14 goals in all competitions during his first season at West Ham.
