Police release an update on the emergency appeal to find the missing man

Police have released an investigation update to help find a missing man.

Simon Brett, 57, was last seen at his home in Cavendish Drive, Bebington, in the early hours of Tuesday, May 7. Merseyside Police issued CCTV of Simon outside Tesco Express on the Strand in Liverpool city center at around 7am on Tuesday.

He is white, 5ft 10m tall, bald and has a stocky build. When he was last seen, he was carrying a large red bag and wearing a blue coat, gray top, jeans and trainers. Simon also has connections with Tarvin in Chester.

In an update today, Tuesday, May 14, police said that inquiries have established that Simon was seen at Euston Station in London.

Detective Inspector Paula Jones of Merseyside Police’s missing persons team said: “We are very concerned about Simon’s whereabouts and, like his family and friends, we just want to see him safe and well. Simon, if you see this, please contact your loved ones or ourselves.

“Also, if anyone who thinks they have seen Simon in the last couple of days, please contact us immediately. Thank you all for sharing this call.”
