A motorcyclist has suffered serious, life-threatening injuries following a crash on the A30

Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash on the A30 in Cornwall.

Officers were called to the eastbound carriageway at Chiverton Cross at around 7.34am on Sunday (June 2).

A blue Kawasaki motorcycle was reported to have been involved in the collision.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 70s from the Redruth area, suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by the Air Ambulance.
