Arne Slot begins his role as head coach of Liverpool FC

The 45-year-old joins the Reds from Feyenoord and takes over the reins following the departure of Jürgen Klopp.

Slot will begin working with the team when pre-season begins in July with a three-game trip to the US as part of preparations for 2024-25.

The Dutch-born coach arrives after three highly successful seasons with Feyenoord, during which he led them to the league title in 2023 and was named Eredivisie Manager of the Year twice.

In April, Slot helped them win the KNVB Cup, beating NEC Nijmegen 1–0 in the final.

Details of his official unveiling as the club’s head coach will be confirmed via Liverpoolfc.com in due course.
