New launch route from Liverpool to sunny destination with prices starting from £69

A new airline will begin operating flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport next year.

SunExpress, a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, will fly between Liverpool and Antalya in Turkey from 6 April 2025. Bookings for the flights open today, with prices starting from £69.99.




The new route from Liverpool marks an expansion of SunExpress services across the UK. This summer it will operate 136 flights a week from nine UK airports.

The airline offers a wide range of fare options for tickets. The basic SunEco option includes at least 20 kg of checked baggage on international flights.

Commenting on the new route from Liverpool, Tobias Bracht, Head of Sales for SunExpress, said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of our exciting new route from Liverpool to Antalya in 2025.
