Land Rover stolen from home in broad daylight prompts police call

A Land Rover Discovery was stolen from a home in Leicestershire over the bank holiday weekend. CCTV has now been released of a man police want to trace in connection with the incident.

The gray Land Rover Discovery was stolen sometime on Friday afternoon (May 3) from the Marquis Drive area of ​​Moira, near Ashby. Officers from Leicestershire Police first received reports that it had been stolen at around 5.40pm.




Investigations into the theft are ongoing, with police still looking to locate the car. At the time it was stolen, the Land Rover had the registration V13 CRT.

To aid investigations, police have released images of a man they want to trace. CCTV footage shows a man in a black tracksuit with a blue baseball cap. Officers believe they may have information relating to the theft of the Land Rover Discovery.
