Five changes to the Love Island 2024 villa – including a new hideout

The new season of ITV’s Love Island lands on our screens tonight (Monday 3 June) and with it comes a new batch of singles and a new villa to envy.

Maya Jama returns to host the show, but before tonight’s festivities begin, you can check out the islanders’ new digs. But not only will the islanders be new, there is a new villa decked out in striking and eye-catching colors.

The Mallorcan villa was unveiled last week, featuring four outdoor lounge areas, a brand new kitchenette, walk-in wardrobes, bathroom – and a stylish new Hideaway.

Partnering again with Ebay, islanders will be able to peruse an extensive collection of beloved fashion. Boots will also return as a sponsor, providing competitors with all the beauty, skincare and hair care essentials they need to survive the summer.

It’s already been noted that the Hideaway now comes adorned with a new sign, which reads “No Invitation Required”. This could allude to reports of the new love nest being changed. It is rumored that islanders can enter the Hideaway with people they are not paired with.

Around this year’s fire, which received a coat of monochrome paint, it now has its own moat. Although it won’t be as vast a medieval castle, the islanders will have to cross a small walkway (or bridge) to sit around the fire.

New Islander Patsy Field, who has Erb’s Palsy, praised Love Island producers for doing everything they could to make the villa accessible for her needs. Her Erb’s palsy it means that Patsy has a weakened right arm that is shorter and has a limited range of motion

She said: “I had a lot of conversations with the producers. I’m sure I’m well taken care of.” The office worker, from Orpington, Kent, developed Erb’s palsy due to complications when she was born.

In addition to the infinity pool where the islanders can take a dip, the villa appears to have a separate hot tub near the rocking sofa. Its exact location is unclear, but could it be a new feature of the revamped Hideaway?
