Coventry’s first Comic Con – Harry Potter and Dr Who star in the line-up

COVENTRY’S first comic book event is set to welcome stars from the Harry Potter films.

Comic Con Mania is a celebration of comics and pop culture with thousands of fans heading to the Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday 25 May.

The event is organized by Monopoly Events.

David Bradley, who played Filch in Harry Potter and Walder Frey in Games of Thrones, and Josh Herdman, best known for playing Gregory Goyle in Harry Potter, will be special guests at the event.

Seventh Doctor Who Sylvester McCoy will be at the event, along with Sophie Aldred.

Fans will be able to purchase collectibles, comics and more from over 200 merchants at the show.

There is a cosplay competition and parade, with fans invited to come as their favorite characters and compete for the prize of Coventry Cosplay Champion.
