A good discussion on municipal matters

Cornwall City Councilor Sarah Good hosted “Coffee with Your Councilor” on May 24 at Carrots N’ Dates in downtown Cornwall. This event gave residents the opportunity to interact directly with one of their representatives.

Good extended a warm invitation to all citizens, emphasizing the accessibility of the event in person and via live stream. This opened the door for wide participation in discussing various community topics.

“Today, I’m hosting an engagement event called Coffee with Your Advisor. It’s an open invitation for anyone to stop by, say hello, ask questions and discuss important issues in the city,” Good said.

The event had an immediate turnout, with attendees stopping to discuss local politics. Good expressed excitement at being asked to host an evening event, considering calling the session “Cocktails with an Advisor.”

“It’s about creating a space for communication,” Good concluded, emphasizing her commitment to continued community engagement.
