Manchester City have opened a new club shop in the heart of New York as the Premier League champions look to build their fan base on both sides of the pond.

Pep Guardiola’s side will visit the United States again this summer, but before Erling Haaland and Co arrive in America, the club unveiled the CityStore at the iconic Rockefeller Center.

The pop-up shop opened on June 1st and will remain in Manhattan until September 22nd.

The Premier League trophy was also up for grabs at the weekend, allowing fans to snap a picture with the latest piece of silverware won by Guardiola’s side.

“We are very excited to announce the launch of our new store in the heart of New York City,” said City’s Serena Gosling.

“The US market continues to offer exciting opportunities for Manchester City to grow and we have experienced an increase in engagement and support from the region over the past few years in a number of areas.”

The move comes after City opened team stores in Manchester’s Arndale center and Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall.

Guardiola’s side have been the dominant force in English football for the past decade.

They won the treble in 2022/23 before securing a fourth consecutive Premier League title last month.

The team will return to the United States for a pre-season tour this summer, starting with a game against Celtic on July 23 in Chapel Hill.

City will then head to Yankee Stadium to face AC Milan on July 27. From there, Guardiola will take his team to Florida to face Barcelona before finishing the tour against Chelsea in Columbus, Ohio.
