McDonald’s is giving away free fries at UK festivals this summer

To celebrate McDonald’s 50th anniversary in the UK and Ireland, the fast food chain is hitting the road to give away free fries at some of the country’s biggest festivals. Back in its iconic fries van this summer, foodie fans will be able to get their hands on some tasty and exclusive treats. McDonald’s festival merchandise.

The brand will be on hand to serve up over 2,000 free servings of the delicious fries every day of every festival it’s at. This year’s festival line-up includes Rockstar Energy presents Parklife, Manchester, Isle of Wight, Wireless and Leeds Festival.

And in memory of TV presenter Caroline Flack, McDonald’s will return to Englefield House for Flackstock 2024. McDonald’s presence will be in both the main arena and VIP areas of the festivals to celebrate their guests as VIPs (Very Important Potatoes ). It will also celebrate the Euro summer with a few little surprises along the way.

As well as free fries, the chain is helping you take your festival fashion up a notch and get noticed on those big screens on the main stage by creating a never-before-seen range of iconic festival merchandise. Must-haves include McDonald’s bucket hats, super cool sunglasses and bags.

These iconic pieces of merchandise will also be completely free to festival goers, so act fast as they’re likely to be a fashion staple on the festival circuit. The statue from the glittering Golden Arches sequence will appear and return for Brits to enjoy and get that Instagram-worthy photo.
