Long queues for flyers at Birmingham Airport

International travelers – some of them flying to Alicante – were caught in a huge queue snaking through the gates of Birmingham Airport on Monday.

Passengers are currently facing long waits to get to the departures area as the airport renovates its first-floor security search area.

Information boards claim the redevelopment does not increase security wait times.
