Professional services giants have teamed up to create a £4bn network

Professional services firms Mazars and Forvis have teamed up to launch a £4bn global network, making it the biggest new entrant to the global rankings in decades.

The new network, which will be known as Forvis Mazars, is ranked as a top ten global network, comprising 40,000 people.

The partnership will provide greater geographic reach, with UK operations known as Forvis Mazars LLP and Forvis Mazars Group spanning more than 100 countries with a total of 400 offices.

In Birmingham, the team says it has already had interest from the US to build lines of communication with the business community.

It is set to enhance its already strong relationship with FORVIS by providing audit, tax and advisory engagements to clients with both US and UK interests.

The Birmingham regional office will continue with Mazars’ existing team and services, offering continuity to clients alongside a number of long-term benefits over time.

Through Forvis Mazars, clients of the Birmingham offices will have access to an expanded range of services, knowledge and advice alongside the local expertise they currently receive. The network also provides additional agility to support customers with a competitive offering and will particularly benefit companies looking to grow or establish a footprint in the US.

New opportunities will be created for Birmingham employees, such as working on international assignments, secondments and reciprocal training programmes.
